Kai & his toys

Here are some pics of Kaikai playing with his some of his birthday gifts. The rest of the gifts were kept by mommy as these were advanced level and Kaikai was not ready yet.

Kaikai would used this vacuum cleaner to help 婆婆 "clean" her house every day. When he was in good mood, he would let Xuanxaun play with his helicopter and "showed" her how he played.

Last Sunday Papa didn’t have to work so he helped Kaikai to set up his “Play Kitchen” and Workbench.

This workbench was kept at our house. Every night and weekend, Kaikai would play with his hammer, screwdriver, spanner, bolts and nuts. Making noise of "construction noise" he learnt this "noises" from 婆婆's place as the Sec school next to 婆婆's house was under upgrading.

Till now, Kaikai still love playing with these two toys, he has reduced his frequency on playing with 婆婆’s kitchen utensils. Mommy was please as she has made a right decision to get these toys.

Kaikai is 2 years old today (exact day)

On 2 Aug 07, mommy bought another birthday cake for Kaikai, this time round, it was a pandan cake. Papa didn’t want cake to be too creamy since Kaikai has just gotten one last week.

After cutting cake on Sunday, Kaikai is an expert now. He knew this cake cutting and candle blowing business well. We sang birthday song for him then blew the two little candles. While mommy went to collect plates and Papa brought Xuanxuan to change diaper…., Kaikai took over the cake cutting task without supervision. I found that quite cute so I took down the pic… as long as he did not messy up the cake, I was fine.

Happy Happy Birthday to Kaikai

Papa & Mommy celebrated our dear angel's ZeKai's first birthday on the 9 July 2006 instead of the actual day 2 August 2006 as Papa have to serve the national for three weeks in Thailand.

We catered a lunch buffet for our guests. On top of that, to thank all guests who made a special trip to our house, Papa & Mommy went all the way out to sought for door gift. Finally, Papa & Mommy decided on getting Chocolate from THE COCOA TREES for all our guests. This gift was suitable for yound and older kids and it was cutely wrapped up with cartoon figure.

Following was a pic of Baby Kai's birthday cake. Mommy insisted birthday : 1. to have the number "1" as this was Kaikai's very first birthday 2. to look like kiddy cake with cute picture 3. must be personalised. Mommy didn't want an ordinary round/square shape cake. We were happy to have this and be involved in the design of this cake.

The day started with a happy note. With good weather, all our invited guests were able to arrived earlier. Xiaojiu came earlier to help up with the decoration. We catered a lunch buffet and gotten door gift ready for all who turned up. Kaikai appearently was not aware of whats going on, but he was happy to see so many people and just played/crawl around and climbed up all funitures (yup, he was a super climber and we have to watch over him). Though Kaikai was still young to know whats happened, Papa & Mommy have taken a lots of photo, these definitely would form part of Kaikai's happy and sweet childhood memory lane.

Importantly, most of our invited guests turned up for the celebration and showered Kaikai with good wishes. Our house was very packed. We were very busy, yet happy (mommy and daddy were more happy then Kaikai) that this day has went through so well.
