My Off day :I took one day leave today to take care of the two darling as 婆婆（mum) was not free. As usual, I brought them to library, they loved being there. Especially Kaikai, we have been telling him to lower his voice when he was in library, so when we reached library, he would put his forefinger on his lip and say shhhhhh.....

Xuanxuan’s porridge :We have tried feeding xuanxuan with porridge in Aug but not very successful. So we waited her to reach seven month and tried again. Think she is not really for it yet as she kept pushing porride away and “blow” it all over her face.

At 4 month, Xuanxuan started her first flip.

At 4 month 1 wk old, Xuanxuan blew bubbles. And she n'joyed doing it and smile sweetly when we said 脏脏。

At 5 month, Xuanxuan could flip a few times.

3 Aug 07
At 5.5 nonth, Xuanxuan achieved three flips continuously.
She loved watching DVD…. Wow, she would stare at the TV set without even blink her eye.

At 6 month:

Mommy caught some of the interesting expressions on 小璇璇when her favour songs were played. Looked at how our little "GIRL" sit. One leg was raised so high while her left hand tapped on the chair.

-She loved watching DVD with children singing nursery rhythms. (BTW, she only loved one DVD and when we switched on to others she would turn away). She liked the same songs as Kaikai, such as "my toes, my knees, my shoulders, my head", " I have a little nut tree", " I have two hands", " The wheels on the bus". So when those songs were played, she would giggles and start jumping/hopping. Her concentration time span is longer than Kaikai.

- She started to "exercise" her palm as well. She would open and close her palm as and when we talk to her.

Xuanxuan getting more naughty. She refused to drink milk and push the milk bottle away. Luckily she liked cereal.

Whenever we opened the door, she would be jumping up and down and if we did not bring her out, she would start to turn her month into an Up-Side-Down U and started to make noise.

Two little teeths
At 6.5 month, this day we find two little teeths in Xuanxuan’s gum. This explained why she didn’t have good appetite recently.

Kaikai liked to "call" Papa and Mommy when Papa and Mommy were not at home

Mommy, just come back from work.
Kai: MOMMYYY…
Mommy: Kaikai. Papa work late tonight
Kai: WHY??? (he started to ask questions)
Kaikai want biscuit but Popo was not giving him as he would be drinking milk very soon.
Kaikai: Mumm Mumm 饼干
Popo: No! 要喝奶 了
Kaikai : (put up his index finger) One?
Popo: No.
KaiKia: Two?
Popo: No
Kaikai: THREE???
PoPo: NO!!!!!

Xuanxuan at 6 month, has became more naughty. At time she would refuse to drink milk and would push it away.Luckily she liked cereal. But I still wanted her to drink milk as that was her main energy source.

Just like Kaikai when he was 6 month, Xuanxuan liked to go out. Whenever we opened the door, she would jump up and down and if we did not bring her out, she would start to turn her month into an Up-Side-Down U and make noise. She wanna go out walkwalk.

Little updates of Kaikai's Milestone

Since May 2007, Kaikai was around 21 months. He would talk to himself before he sleep.

May 2007, around 21 months, Kai kai started his “1,2,3…” a few weeks later, he started to count steps when he walked up the stair. Now at 24 months, he has mastered the counting of “1,2…10” in both languages and MUST count steps when he walks up the stair or when he plays with his abacus, my bead necklace.

Jun 2007, at 22 months, we introduced DVD to Kaikai and he developed the liking to watch DVD with little kids dancing and singing. He loved to watch baby and little kids. Till now he still do not appreciate cartoon and shows.

Jun 2007, at 22 months, Kaikai started to learn brushing his teeth.

Jul 2007, at 23 months, Kaikai not only talk to himself, he hummed little songs (still could not say words) before he sleep.

Jul 2007, at 23 months, Kaikai learnt “A, B,C …Z” when he was happy. At times, he would sit on the floor, randomly point at the poster on the wall and said “A, B, C”, “Q, R, S” ,“O”, “M” BTW he did not point at the correct letter. His first three alphabet are “Q,R,S”.

Aug 2007, at 24 months, he still could not say the entire 26 Letters, but when we read with him, he could follow us easily, at times we would test him by stopping at certain alphabet and he could continue with the next alphabet. He is very comfortable till the Letter “S”.
