Our family photoToday Papa & mommy celebrate Kaikai’s 2nd birthday in advanced. After holding a party celebrating Kai’s 1st birthday, this time round Papa & Mommy decided to keep it mini and manageable.
Mommy ie me started my searched (dilly dallies) one month ago. Mommy still has the same criteria 1. cake to look like kiddy cake with cute picture 2. cake must be personalized with name and number. Mommy didn't want an ordinary round/square shape cake. Since Kaikai was born in early August, we got a “Horoscope – Leo cake” for him.
The night before 29 Jul 07, mommy, papa and Kaikai put up the birthday banner and balloons. On this day, Kaikai woke up very early, Papa drove mommy, Kaikai & Xuanxuan to collect cake. Kaikai was delighted. As he was older, he was able to appreciate the cake and his eye brightens up when he saw the cake and volunteers to carry it. Of course we rejected his offer. This was followed by collecting food from Old Chang Kee and KFC.
At home, 公公& 婆婆 cooked up quite a number of delicious dishes 婶婆 also volunteered to cook curry chicken for Kaikai. So that’s how we work out the menu for Kaikai’s birthday party.

We signaled to Kaikai when to blow candle and when to cut cake. Happily, he did just what we asked him.
大舅，舅妈，小舅, 婆婆，公公，婶婆 showered Kaikai with gifts and many good wishes, here was a pic of Kaikai and some of his gift. Mommy and Papa, got Kaikai a Kitchen set, workbench, vacuum cleaner and some musical toys.
